Landscapes from the 4th Dimension is a painting project that reviews the genre of landscape and forms scenes rendering different geographies around the world from a mythological perspective. The images are a mix of photographic documentation of the landscapes, tradition and local religious beliefs, their languages of ritual and the performative role of the community in traditional ceremonies. An ongoing project that has takes its vocabulary from trips to China, Mongolia, California, Mexico, Iceland and Spain, and makes a collage of the references gathered along the way, where characters and objects are not necessarily placed in its original context.
